Brethren, for today’s devotion I have chosen a word from the book of Psalm.
Psalm 27:14 (NKJV)
Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD.
The instruction in this verse is to wait on the LORD and be of good courage. This is a reminder that when we patiently trust in God and have courage, He will strengthen our hearts. It is a call to have faith and patience, knowing that God will provide for us and guide us in the right direction.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you today to ask for your guidance and strength. Your word tells us to wait on you, to be of good courage, and that you will strengthen our hearts. We trust in your promise and ask that you give us the patience and faith to wait on your perfect timing. Help us to remember that you have a plan for our lives and that everything will work out according to your will. We thank you for your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
