Brethren, for today’s devotion I have chosen a word from the book of Ecclesiastes.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 (AMP)
'He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time'
In Ecclesiastes 3:11, we are reminded that God has created everything with a purpose and in its perfect timing. Every aspect of our lives, even the difficult and challenging moments has a specific purpose and time. Although we may not always understand why things happen the way they do, we can have faith that God has a plan and He will make everything beautiful in His time. So Brethren it is important to trust in His timing and to have patience, knowing that He is in control and everything will fall into place at the right time.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I come to you with a heart full of gratitude and thankfulness for the words you have given us through the book of Ecclesiastes. Thank you for reminding us that you have made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time, and that we can trust in your perfect timing. Even when we may not understand the season we are in, help us to trust in your plan and purpose for our lives. Your word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, and for that, we are forever grateful. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
