Brethren, for today’s devotion I have chosen a word from the book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 43:18-19 NKJV
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."
This passage from Isaiah reminds us to let go of the past and look towards the future with hope and faith in God's plans. He has many wondrous things in store for us, and is constantly working in our lives to bring forth new opportunities and blessings. Brethren let us trust in His plans, even when we cannot see or understand them, for He has a plan for our growth and fulfillment. Just as He made a way in the wilderness and provided for His people, He will continue to make a way for us and bring new opportunities and blessings into our lives. So let us hold onto this promise and have hope for the future.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I come to you with a heart full of gratitude and thankfulness for the words you have given us through Isaiah 43:18-19. Lord, we trust in your divine plan for our lives, we thank you for the new opportunities and blessings that you have in store for us. Help us to let go of the past and look forward with hope and faith in your guidance. As we move forward, may we remember the words of Isaiah 43:18-19, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." We trust in your promise that you will make a way for us and provide for our needs. May we continue to seek your will and trust in your perfect plan for our lives. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Have A blessed day in the Lord Jesus Christ 😊
In Christ
