The Good News of the Birth of Christ | Luke 2:10-11

Published on 25 December 2024 at 07:00

For today's devotion I have  chosen a word from the book of Luke.

Luke 2:10-11 (KJV)

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For
unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

This verse from Luke 2:10-11 reminds us of the incredible gift of Jesus Christ, who came to save us from our sins and offer us eternal life. It is a reminder of the hope and joy that we have in Him, and the importance of sharing this good news with others. Let us always remember the true meaning of Christmas and celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, who brings us everlasting love, peace, and salvation."

Prayer

Heavenly Father, as we reflect on the verses from Luke 2:10-11, we humbly ask for your guidance and wisdom in sharing your message of love and salvation with those who are lost and in need of your grace. Lord we pray that through our words and actions, we may be vessels of your love and bring hope to those who are hurting. Lord we also pray that those who have not yet come to know Christ may understand the true meaning of your birth and be drawn to you. May they feel the joy and hope that comes from knowing Christ, and may their hearts be open to receiving you as their Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Merry Christmas ! To us a Savior has been born! 😊

In Christ
